Longtime Bridgewater Historian, Dorothy Gustafson celebrated her 1OOth Birthday on June 6, 2015. Giving back to the town was something  Dorothy learned  at an early age and continues  to this day. Over the years, she has served as both Secretary  and Treasurer  for the Center Cemetery, Secretary for the Grange and Secretary  for the Bridgewater  Historical  Society. She also contributed countless  hours of volunteering to deliver blood for the Red Cross and she still serves as the Town Historian.  When asked about her years of service, Dorothy said, "My years of volunteering in civic activities  were always very enjoyable with hours gladly given." We celebrate  her volunteerism as she marks her 1OOth birthday.
